Angler Reviews

It seems that Ryan is just going to leave us hanging on the reveiws for the rest of the camp. My guess is that since he has already backed out of next years camp he just doesn't have the heart to keep this blog going!

So here we go. Larry, Dad, and Uncle Steve all kept up there normal status. No pot winners. They did have good years for them. I mean there was only one day that Dad didn't catch a walleye. Thats down from 5 last year. Aaron C. caught a lot of fish but in shocking fasion did not win a pot. I think some of Uncle Steve's Mojo rubbed off on him. Aaron H. was the Rookie of the year and won more than his share of pots. Bernie had another outstanding week of fishing. I can't explain it because if there is anyone else who gives a shit less more than Bernie I haven't seen them. But for the past several years he has done very well. Andy did pretty well for himself. He caught a lot of fish and didn't miss any of mine with the net. That's more than I could say for Trent in years past.

Now for Ryan. He caught a lot of fish. That being said, have you ever heard a man talk so much and deliver so little? I mean talk about a let down! Don't worry Ryan if you behave yourself Sandy will let you try again in 4 to 5 years.

Thanks for the Rookie of the Year nod. I am still telling my family and friends what a great time I had and what wonderful people the Couts boys are. Bernie was a pretty good guide and Larry kind of kept me straight on a few things. I know that is kind of hard to believe but what the hey. I am looking forward to fishing Lake Erie in September.

  2. Larry just got back from Lake Erie with another group.I know it's hard to believe another group of guys would want to fish with him. He caught a 32 inch walleye. He said it wasn't much fun. They used plaining boards. All you do is reel them in after they hook themselves.

32 inch walleye is a big fish. I'm sure he threw it back...being the conservationist he is.

  4. Well at least we know if someone else hooks a big fish for Larry he can reel it in all by himself! Babysteps Larry, babysteps.
