up early this morning, put new items in my tackle box. it is loaded , ready for a big week of catching big walleye. Nothing special, just full of the old fish catching lures of the past. Trent and I have industrial heavy duty stringers to make sure we do not lose any of our big fish.

Wow. Things just took a giant leap forward on the serious meter. This trip may just get done after all. Showed Connor the Ivanhoe Jet Express we fly in on yesterday. Showed him what pike do to a smaller fish that is currently being reeled in. I don't think anyone could actually ever be prepared for what to expect until you make the trip, but we started the education.
