Revisionist History...

You know what the great thing about this blog is? Everything stays right where it is....year after year. So I was looking back and found this little pre-trip gem from Big Fish. And if I forgot to mention it after last year's trip, "Suck it, Bernie."

Sincerely,
Ryan
31" walleye 2011

 ONE HIT WONDERS
I'm a little confused on why Ryan is giving reviews on our boats. It's a little like listening to Keith Oberman give reviews on NFL players and their teams. Don't you think one should play the game first. There is however an old tale about him catching a nice walleye at the moose stand many moons ago. I believe this is my eleventh trip and I haven't seen any thing on his stringer that could be called outstanding. This fish I've heard about must have been caught in the previous century. He predicts a bad week for the Haines Brothers this year. Ryan knows as well as all others who have been there that a bad week is still a good week when you're at the Chutes with friends and family. Hope everyone gets a pot winner.

  1. Every time I get on this post I can't help but notice the picture of my nice fish that was caught on Father's Day 2009. It is a great reminder of the exceptional year I had with Ryan taking a front row seat to the action.
Now he throws a post at us claiming to have predicted the monster fish that he has claimed to have caught. His only evidence being his father. Maybe during his time off from this year's trip he can do some soul searching and finally come clean with the truth. A little advice for the future, when you catch a big fish have a camera or at least show it to someone other than your father. If you don't it leaves yourself open to posts like this. Here's to getting the bullshit started.

  2. I only "heard" about this 31 inch walleye. Does such a fish really exist? Ryan says he caught it and Steve, who is known to drink alot in the great white north, was his witness. No picture...just sayin!
