New Rod ordee

I just placed an order for a new rod to replace the one I broke last year. I ordered the exact same one as the one I broke. The way the walleye were fighting with each other to get hooked on that thing, I figure why change.

    Cabela's? I got two of the Fish Eagle II's when they were 39.99. I think they are 80 now.

    Yes thats what I got, the Fish Eagle II. Mine is a baitcaster. I had 2 and they seemed pretty. good. I haven't tried the spinning rods. I paid $49 for mine.

    Anyone with a government job like Walleye killer should outfit the whole group. Including rods,reels,tackle,beer,whiskey and occasionaly a sandwich. Texas Bob

    That is what I got too. I got 1 spinning and 1 Casting. I got them both Medium. I usually get Med Heavy but my spinning rod was medium and I kinda liked it so I got the casting the same way. I have two mediums and two med hvys. My med hvys are both blades.

    Texas Bob - I would, but you guys aren't paying enough taxes so I am not going to get a raise for the next three years. Maybe I'll make you a couple sandwiches this year. Leave your ziploc on the bulletin board and I'll see what I can do.

    I got a cane pole and a box of safety pins and 50 yards of Glide dental floss. If you guys could bring some nuts or washers I won't need any sinkers.
