My Personal Effort to save space for this years trip.

I just started a 20 week weight loss challenge. The final weigh in is July 15th. In case you forgot that is the same day we leave for the mother of all vacations. I have 2 weight loss goals. First, try to loose enough so that Andy and I are not on the same eye level in the boat this year. I mean why should his feet always be bone dry. My second goal is to loose enough weight to justify a couple of cases of beer being flown in for me to enjoy. I know you guys don't need to loose weight as bad as I do, but I suggest that everyone only gets to bring one case of beer for every 20 pounds they loose before the trip. Dad I'm just kidding, and know, that does not apply to bottles of liqure. Just think of the overweight charges we could avoid if we wen't beer free this year and switched everyone to whiskey.

Anyway I weigh in every Wednesday and will keep you posted on the results.

20 weeks to go.

  2. I could afford to shed some weight myself. 20 pounds sounds about right. I blame my weight on this damn recliner. I can't sit in it without eating something. Didn't Richard say that two cases of beer= 25 pounds. I will try to do my part. Damn- it's gonna be tough.

  4. I am in. 30 lbs before July 15th. That will get me down to what I weighed on the 2002 trip. This is the motivation I needed. I actually did my body test on the Wii Fit this past weekend...It said "Well, if isn't Ryan!" I gave it the finger and said just get on with it. It wasn't a pleasant experience. I think as part of this we should all agree to spend a day walking around Cabela's.

  5. I think I will lose 40 ounces- that should allow me one bottle of gin. If that works out i'll try to lose another 32 ounces to justify the tonic water. Do I have to account for the limes too?
